Xiaomi’s sub-brand, Redmi, is prioritizing three key features in its smartphones: a massive battery, a high-speed display, and powerful performance. The new Redmi K100 smartphone comes equipped with a 10,000mAh battery, a 6.83-inch AMOLED display, and a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The phone is scheduled to be unveiled in China on October 28.

According to information released by Redmi, the Redmi K100 features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a maximum refresh rate of 165Hz and a peak brightness of 3,500 nits. The high refresh rate ensures smoother motion in fast-paced scenes and scrolling within supported games.

The device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, complemented by a dedicated D2 display chip. Redmi claims that the device will support a 165Hz refresh rate in over 40 games. It also runs on the HyperOS 4 operating system.
